Application Fees
Female/SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: Exempted (No Fee).
All Other Candidates: ₹200.
Payment Mode: Net Banking, Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card, or UPI.
How to Apply Online
Visit the Portal: Applications must be submitted online through the UPSC website: https://upsconline.nic.in.
Registration (OTR): Register on the Online Application Portal to generate a Universal Registration Number (URN). This is a one-time process.
Fill Application: Complete the Common Application Form (CAF) and the Examination Specific Module.
Photo & Signature: Upload a scanned photograph (20 KB – 200 KB) and signature (20 KB – 100 KB) in .jpg format.
Live Photo: Applicants are also required to capture a live photograph during the application process.
Submit: Pay the fee (if applicable) and submit the form. Note that withdrawal of application is not allowed after submission
