📝 Steps to Apply Online (As per UPSC Notification)
Candidates must apply online only through the official website of the Union Public Service Commission. No other mode of application is accepted.
Step 1: One Time Registration (OTR)
Visit the official UPSC website
Complete One Time Registration (OTR) by entering:
Personal details
Contact details
Identity details
OTR is mandatory and needs to be completed only once
Step 2: Login to Apply
Login using OTR credentials
Select the relevant recruitment/examination notification
Click on Apply Online
Step 3: Fill Application Form
Enter required details such as:
Personal information
Educational qualification
Examination centre preferences
Verify all details carefully before proceeding
Step 4: Upload Documents
Upload scanned copies of:
Recent passport-size photograph
Signature
Photo identity card (if required)
(All documents must be uploaded in the prescribed format and size.)
Step 5: Pay Application Fee
Pay the application fee online through:
Debit Card
Credit Card
Net Banking
UPI
Fee once paid is non-refundable (unless exempted category)
Step 6: Final Submission
Preview the application form
Submit the application online
No changes are allowed after final submission
Step 7: Print Application Form
After successful submission, download and print the application form
Keep a copy for future reference
