Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) in Science or equivalent.
Required subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Minimum Marks: * 50% for General and other categories.
45% for SC/ST candidates.
2. Age Limit
Age is calculated based on the Matriculation certificate. A special 5-year relaxation has been granted on the maximum age limit.
General (UR) Male/Female: 18 to 25 years.
BC/EBC Male: 18 to 27 years.
BC/EBC Female: 18 to 28 years.
SC/ST/Transgender: 18 to 30 years.
3. Physical Standards
Male Candidates
Category: Unreserved (UR) / Backward Class (BC)
Height: Minimum 165 cm.
Chest (Unexpanded): Minimum 81 cm.
Chest (Expanded): Minimum 86 cm.
Note: A minimum expansion of 5 cm is mandatory.
Category: Extremely Backward Class (EBC)
Height: Minimum 160 cm.
Chest (Unexpanded): Minimum 81 cm.
Chest (Expanded): Minimum 86 cm.
Note: A minimum expansion of 5 cm is mandatory.
Category: Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST)
Height: Minimum 160 cm.
Chest (Unexpanded): Minimum 79 cm.
Chest (Expanded): Minimum 84 cm.
Note: A minimum expansion of 5 cm is mandatory.
Female & Transgender Candidates
Category: All Categories (including Transgender)
Height: Minimum 155 cm.
Weight: Minimum 48 kg.
Chest: Not applicable (not measured for female/transgender candidates).
Selection Process
Written Exam: 100 marks (100 questions). Includes General Knowledge, Physics, Chemistry, and Math (25 questions each). Minimum qualifying marks: 30%.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualfiying nature; includes Running, High Jump, and Shot Put.
Document Verification: Verification of educational, age, and reservation certificates.
Medical Examination: Final check for vision, hearing, and physical fitness.
