Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following minimum educational qualifications for their respective papers:

• Primary Level (Classes 1 to 5):

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC-recognized university and a 2-year D.El.Ed (BTC) (final year appearing or passed).

  • OR 4-year B.El.Ed (final year appearing or passed) with at least 50% in Intermediate.

Note: Candidates with a B.Ed. degree must complete a 6-month Bridge Course in primary education within two years of appointment.

• Upper Primary Level (Classes 6 to 8):

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a 2-year D.El.Ed (BTC) (final year appearing or passed).

  • OR Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (final year appearing or passed) .

  • OR 4-year B.A.B.Ed / B.Sc.B.Ed (final year appearing or passed) with at least 50% in Intermediate.
