Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification & Experience
Assistant Environmental Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university. (AMIE qualifications in these branches are also accepted) .
Assistant Scientific Officer:
Option A: Doctorate (PhD) in Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, or Biochemistry with 3 years of experience in Environment/Pollution Control/Public Health.
Option B: Master's Degree in Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, or Biochemistry with 5 years of experience in Environment/Pollution Control/Public Health.
2. Age Limit (As of July 1, 2025)
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 40 years
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Skilled Sportspersons/Govt Employees of UP. 15 years for PwD candidates.

Selection Process
The selection is based on a two-stage process totaling 470 marks:
Stage I: Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type exam for 400 marks (100 questions).
Correct Answer: +4 marks.
Wrong Answer: -1 mark (Negative marking).
Stage II: Interview: 70 marks.
