Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Candidate must be:

• Citizen of India

  OR as per categories mentioned in notification (Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan Refugee/PIO with eligibility certificate).

Age Limit (As on 01/02/2026)

• Minimum Age: 20 Years

• Maximum Age: 28 Years

• Born between 02/02/1998 and 01/02/2006 (both inclusive)

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST – 5 Years

• OBC – 3 Years

• PwBD – 10/13/15 Years (based on category)

• Ex-Servicemen – As per service + 3 years (max 50 yrs)

• Widows/Divorced Women – Up to 35 years (40 for SC/ST)

• RBI Employees – Up to 3 years

Educational Qualification (As on 01/02/2026)

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with:

  • Minimum 50% marks (Pass class for SC/ST/PwBD)

• Knowledge of word processing on PC

• Must be proficient in the local language of the applying office

For Ex-Servicemen: Graduate OR Matriculation + 15 years defence service

Preliminary Exam Pattern:

• English Language – 30 marks

• Numerical Ability – 35 marks

• Reasoning Ability – 35 marks

• Total: 100 Marks (60 Minutes)

Main Exam Pattern:

• Reasoning – 40

• English – 40

• Numerical Ability – 40

• General Awareness – 40

• Computer Knowledge – 40

• Total: 200 Marks (135 Minutes)

Salary Details

• Basic Pay: ₹29,000/- per month

• Gross Monthly Salary (approx.): ₹58,514/- (without HRA)

• HRA: 15% (if not staying in RBI accommodation)
